Spirit of play
Fun first, win second
The Toledo Sport and Social Club exists so adults can keep competing in lifelong recreational play. There will be intense moments — usually late in a game, usually after somebody makes a questionable call — but we hope the Spirit of Play always wins out.
Good sporting behaviour is why people join our leagues and why they stay. Take a loss without complaint, take a win without gloating, and treat everyone on the other side with fairness and respect. That is the whole rulebook.
Majors
Advanced skills and real competition. You care what the final score is.
Minors
Intermediate skills. You still want to win, but you are not losing sleep over it. Our most popular level.
For Fun
Basic skills and a good time. Some teams genuinely lose track of the score.
